Save the Cookie

by Lindsay Sheikh

As reported earlier Air Trans out of Florida is making a hostile bid to take over the local airline Midwest Airlines (formerly Midwest Express). In a bid to let the shareholder know what the people are thinking, Midwest Airlines has set up a website to Save the Cookie. Here is the link where you too can sign the petition to keep this airline local,

For travelers who either maybe flown them one or twice or never. This is the only domestic airline that still cooks on board the plane. During your flight you are met with the most wonderful smell of freshly bake cookies. My husband took a flight from Milwaukee to LAX in April and asked the stewardess for extras for his wife, but I am back home in Milwaukee. He took them to the hotel for his stay there. That is how good they are.

Help save our local pride, Midwest Airlines and save the cookie!

About Milwaukee, WI

Forget what you learned from those Laverne & Shirley reruns. Long gone is the factory town that unleashed Harley Davidson and Pabst Blue Ribbon upon the world. In its place, you'll find one of the most exciting metropolises between the coasts. The motorcycles and beer are still around, but Milwaukee also has a cutting edge art scene, festivals for every occasion, a palette of architectural curiosities, a thriving night life, and some of the most driven and diverse people in the midwest. In Milwaukee, boredom isn't even an option.
